Standards

Children start at Highfield with standards that are well below the national average. They make excellent progress during their time with us and leave with standards that are generally in line with national averages.

In 2016 our KS2 results placed us top in terms of attainment and progress at KS2 to local schools in Chorley. We are also 20th in a national list of 125 schools across England whose pupils had achieved similar assessment results at the end of key stage 1. This is a fantastic achievement and is down to the hard work of all the staff and pupils.
